She’s a model – blonde hair, green eyes, thick brows. She’s got the edginess of Agyness Deyn and is even said to be “the new Kate Moss” to some. She’s exceptionally mischievous but incredibly beautiful. Her name is none other than Cara Delevingne. The majority should already know who she is by now but for the sake of those who don’t, she is an English supermodel who shot to international stardom after being signed as the face of Burberry in 2011. From strutting down the runway of big names like Chanel and Victoria’s Secret to gracing the cover of Vogue magazine, this girl has done it all.

Apart from that flawless face of hers, the reason why I love Cara is simple, this lady has character. Yes, girls should be classy but people often overlook the importance of having a character. An aesthetically pleasant-looking book will only go that far, if it lacks content, I’m not buying it.

Being a huge fan of hers, I hyperventilated when I found out about her collaboration with Mulberry. This line of bags were inspired by Cara’s tattoos, namely the lion on her index finger and the “Made in England” tat on the sole of her foot. Inside each bag you will find a charming lion rivet and on the base of it, the words “Made in England” proudly stamped to reflect the origins of the bag and it’s maker.

“I wanted there to be hidden gems inside, based on things that are personal to me, which my tattoos definitely are,” said Cara.

Now, aren’t these gorgeous? I knew I had to have one of these in my life as soon as I saw them and lucky me, my genie at home decided to get one for me as a present! (‘: According to him, he couldn’t stand watching me stick my face on the glass displays of Mulberry every time we bypass Mandarin Gallery any longer (oops). A pity we were a tad too late though and the quilted ones I had my eyes on were all gone by then so I got the one in natural leather instead. Still extremely thankful of course!

Love how versatile these bags are – you can wear them as a backpack, a hand-held or even as a sling. The Cara Bag has been my everyday bag for a couple of weeks now and I’m still lovin’ every bit of it!
